Incentive Stock Options

Incentive Stock Options (also known as ISOs) provide a unique opportunity for equity compensation, enabling individuals to purchase company shares at a predetermined price. This can result in advantageous tax treatment if certain requirements are met. Although ISOs represent stock options, they do not directly grant ownership of shares; instead, you must exercise your options to become a shareholder. Notably, unlike other option types, the exercise of ISOs typically does not incur tax obligations.
